Yarn Store
I’ve lived in pittsburgh for… going on 5 months now. You would think I would have been to the yarn store by now…
My husband said he would take me today. So we went to Yarns Unlimited. It was an amazing experience. I starting flitting about, and was really nervous, so I tend to do this really odd… movement with my arms. Lets say you are banging both your fists on a table. I do this in the air when I am excited. No idea why.
I ended up picking some amazing yarn for a project I had planned on using another color for… But I saw this green and fell in love. Maybe I can use it for something else.
The ladies were friendly and very helpful. I’ve never been so much in a yarn nirvana. (though this does mean I’ve broken my yarn diet… *sigh *)
I have put myself back on a yarn diet and fabric diet. It’s started to overflow into something too unmanagable for myself, my husband, and my roommates, so I boxed up some fabric and put mothballs all over, and placed it in the attic. In the meantime, I still have 3 shelves that I need to use up. Hopefully I can get done what I need to.
Todays projects?: Elly’s cutsew and a knitting bag. (my theory here is that if I want to make this or that, I need to work on her item first, and at least get something done before I try to do a pattern review.
In other news…. a lot of drama has come up in my life lately, and of course there is no better time for it than now. :/ So I’m just going to work through it, sew through it, and make sure I am doing all I can to catch up, and then deal with it, rather than worrying until it gets here.
