Yarn Diet
It’s official! I’m on a Yarn Diet!
I got this wonderful banner from Wendy Knits (I hope you don’t mind me using it!)
I’ve got a whole bunch of yarn that needs using up. So first to go is my new work project. I work on this during breaks and lunches at work, and right before I go to sleep.
It’s a purse! In DEEP PINK. Lion Brand Suede in “Rose”. I’m carefully counting my stitches so I can format it into a PDF and sell it if it turns out cute. (Otherwise I guess I would offer it for free? IDK)
I had to frog my sock! It’s all good.
I’m also working on the “October is for Spinners” pattern. I LOVE spider imagery, so this scarf is going to be amazing. (I hope I can do it some justice~)
Sewing is going ok. I’ve been relatively tired, what with getting over this infection and random overtime. (Let’s not forget household chores!) But my current schedule is annoying. I like my 8 hours of sleep straight! Take pill at midnight, sleep, wake up at 6am, take pill, go back to sleep until 2 hours before work. Noon: take pill, work. 6PM, Take pill, finish up work, and go home. (Trying to drink 8-10 glasses of water so I don’t get kidney failure on these particular pills)
But yep… And as far as sewing… I will be sewing a bit on Sunday and on my birthday. I don’t have any other days off, and yet I make 1k less per month than my husband, our roommate, and his girlfriend. I make the least of everyone. T_T But I work the most hours. I don’t understand. *hardly breaks 800 per month*
